NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 18th September, 2019
S.O. 3444(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 11 of the National Investigation Act, 2008 (34 of
2008), the Central Government in supersession of the notifications of the Government of India, published in the Gazette
of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), vide No. S.O. 78 (E), dated the 31st December, 2012 and
S.O. 2263 (E), dated the 25th June, 2019, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession,
the Central Government in consultation with the Hon’ble Chief Justice of the High Court of Karnataka, hereby designates
the Court of XLIX Additional City Civil and Sessions Judge, Bengaluru City as the Special Court for the purpose of the
said sub-section (1) of section 11 of the said Act for the trial of Scheduled Offences investigated by the National
Investigation Agency.
The jurisdiction of the Special Court mentioned above shall extend throughout the State of Karnataka.
