NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 24th December, 2019
S.O. 4705(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 11 of the National Investigation
Agency Act, 2008 (34 of 2008), the Central Government in supersession of the notifications of the
Government of India, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii),
vide number S.O. 788 (E), dated the 26th April, 2011 and S.O. 2536 (E) dated the 9th August, 2017, except as
respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government in consultation
with the Hon’ble Chief Justice of the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, hereby designates the 3rd Senior
Most Court of Additional District and Sessions Judge, Lucknow as the Special Court for the purpose of sub-
section (1) of section 11 of the above said Act for the trial of the Scheduled Offences investigated by the
National Investigation Agency.
The jurisdiction of the Special Court mentioned above shall extend throughout the State of Uttar
Pradesh.
