NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 15th November, 2018
G.S.R. 1121(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 18 of the Central Reserve Police Force Act,
1949 (66 of 1949), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Central Reserve Police Force,
Assistant Sub Inspector (Steno) and Head Constable (Ministerial) Recruitment Rules, 2012, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement.-
(1) These rules may be called the Central Reserve Police Force, Assistant Sub Inspector
(Steno) and Head Constable (Ministerial) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2018.
(2)
They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Central Reserve Police Force, Assistant Sub Inspector (Steno) and Head Constable (Ministerial)
Recruitment Rules, 2012,-
(a) for rule 3, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:-
“3. Number of posts, classification and Level in Pay Matrix.- The number of said posts, their
classification and the level in the pay matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns
(2) to (4) of the said schedule.”;
(b) in the Schedule,-¹Hkkx IIµ[k.M 3(i)º Hkkjr dk jkti=k % vlk/kj.k 3
(i) against serial number 1 relating to the post of Assistant Sub Inspector (Steno), in
column (4), for the column heading and the entries relating thereto, the following
column heading and entries shall be substituted, namely:-
“Level in Pay Matrix
(4)
Level-5
(Rs. 29200-92300)”;
(ii) against serial number 2 relating to the post of Head Constable (Ministerial), in
column (4), for the existing entries, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-
“Level-4
(Rs. 25500-81100)”.
