2. अयुध जनयम 2016 में,-
(i) जनयम 53, के ईपजनयम (1), म ेंपरंतुकों का लोप दकया िाएगा।
(ii) जनयम 105, के ईपजनयम (1), की सारणी के स्ट्तम्भ (2) (क) में “राज्य सरकार” िब्दों के पश्चात “या राज्य
सरकार द्वारा प्राजधकृत कोइ ऄजधकारी” िब्द ऄंतःस्ट्थाजपत दकए िाएंगे।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 9th October, 2020
G.S.R. 625(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 44 of the Arms Act, 1959 (54 of
1959), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Arms Rules, 2016,
namely :—
1. Short title and commencement.—(1) These rules may be called the Arms (Third Amendment)
Rules, 2020.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Arms Rules, 2016, -
(i) in rule 53, the provisos to the sub-rule (1) shall be omitted;
(ii) in rule 105 (1), in sub-rule (1), in the Table, in column (2), against the entries at serial number
(a), after the words “the State Government”, the words “or any officer authorised by the State
Government” shall be inserted.
