NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 3rd January, 2020
G.S.R. 11(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 44 of the Arms Act, 1959 (54 of 1959), the
Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Arms Rules, 2016, namely:—
1. Short title and commencement.—(1) These rules may be called the Arms (Amendment) Rules, 2020.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Arms Rules, 2016, in rule 15, in sub-rules (2) and (4), for the figures, letters and words “ 1st day of
April, 2019”, the figures, letters and word, “ 30th June, 2020” shall be substituted.
