कायक्रय म के जलए परीक्षा सजमजत और उत्तर पजत्रकाओं की समीक्षा कग जनधारय रत करता आर्डयनसें । १. मल्ू याकं न प्रकक्रया (मनै अु ल मल्ू याकं न की जस्ट्थजत म)ें १.१. यूिी और पीिी काययक्रम के जलए एक मूल्यांकन ककया िाएगा। १.२. उत्तर पजत्रकाओं का मल्ू यांकन परीक्षा खडं (एचक्यू) द्वारा जनर्दिय संबंजधत क्षेत्र/केंद्र में ककया िाएगा। १.३. अंक कग कैप्चर करन े के जलए ओएमआर िीट के साथ उत्तर पजत्रकाओं कग जनयतियु िगनल कगऑर्डयनेटर द्वारा परीक्षक कग सौंपा िाएगा। १.४. परीक्षक उत्तर पुजस्ट्तकाओं म ेंदी गई पेली िीट पर ेी प्रत्येक प्रश्न के जलए अंक दगे ा।[भाग III—खण् ड 4] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 13 १.५. परीक्षाथी कग उत्तर पजत्रकाओं में कगई अंकन नेीं करना चाजेए क्य कक इन उत्तर पजत्रकाओं कग भजिष्य में पुन: मूल्यांकन करन े की आिश्यकता ेग सकती े।ै ये दसू रे और तीसरे परीक्षार्थयय (िेां आिश्यक ेग) कग पेले के मूल्यांकन से पूिायग्रेी बनन ेसे बचने के जलए ककया िाता े।ै १.६. उत्तर पजत्रका में अंकन करते हुए पाया िाने िाला कगई भी परीक्षक १ िष य के जलए परीक्षक बनन े से जििर्ियत ककया िाएगा। ऐसे जििर्ियत ककए गए परीक्षक का नाम परीक्षा खंड (एचक्यू) में रखना ेगगा। १.७. प्रत्येक परीक्षक कग एक कदन म ें अजधकतम ५० और एक परीक्षा सत्र म ें अजधकतम १००० उत्तर पजत्रकाओं का मूल्यांकन करना चाजेए। यकद फैकल्टी की कमी या अन्य कगई कारणिि, जििेष परीक्षक द्वारा अजधक उत्तर पजत्रकाओं का मूल्यांकन ककया िाना े,ैं तग िगनल कगऑर्डयनेटर सीओई से जििेष अनुमगदन की मांग करेगा। १.८. सभी काययक्रम की उत्तर पजत्रकाओं का मूल्यांकन ककया िाना े ै और उसी के अंक कग ओएमआर िीट पर कैप्चर करना े।ै इन ओएमआर िीट कग पररणाम प्रसंस्ट्करण के जलए िगनल कगऑर्डयनेटर के माययम से परीक्षा अनुभाग (एचक्यू) कग भेिा िाना े।ै १.९. यकद, एक परीक्षक एक छात्र द्वारा जलखे गए उत्तर के जलए अंक दने े में जिफल रेता ेै, तग उत्तर पजत्रका के पाररश्रजमक का भुगतान परीक्षक कग नेीं ककया िाएगा। १.१०. यकद, उपयुयतिय १.९ म ें उजल्लजखत अनुसार १% स े अजधक की गलजतय के जलए फैकल्टी द्वारा मूल्यांकन ककए गए उत्तर पजत्रकाओं में स े एक फैकल्टी कग जि्‍मेदार ठेराया िाता ेैं, तग उसे अन्य सभी पेपर के जलए भी कगई भी पाररश्रजमक का भुगतान नेीं ककया िाएगा। इसके अलािा ऐसी फैकल्टी कग अगल े दग अंजतम सेमेस्ट्टर परीक्षाओं के जलए ककसी भी उत्तर पजत्रकाओं का मल्ू यांकन करने की अनुमजत नेीं दी िाएगी। १.११. कुलपजत के अनुमगदन के साथ परीक्षा के पररणाम प्रकाजित ककए िाएगं े। २. मल्ू याकं न प्रकक्रया (ऑनलाइन मल्ू याकं न की जस्ट्थजत म)ें २.१ यूिी और पीिी काययक्रम के जलए एक मूल्यांकन ककया िाएगा। २.२ आईएमयू एचक्य ूद्वारा सौपें गए संबंजधत क्षेत्र में उत्तर पजत्रकाओं का मल्ू यांकन ककया िाएगा। २.३ संबंजधत जगन मल्ू यांकन कग सौंपी गई संबंजधत आईएमयू कैंपस और संबद्ध संस्ट्थान की उत्तर पजत्रकाओं कग जनयुतिय िगनल कगऑर्डनय ेटर द्वारा सेिा प्रदाता कग स्ट्कैहनगं के जलए सौंपा िाएगा और सेिा प्रदाता द्वारा जििेष सॉफ्टिेयर का उपयगग करके कंप्यूटर म ेंमल्ू यांकन के जलए उपलब्ध कराया िाएगा। २.४ परीक्षक ऑनलाइन मल्ू यांकन के जलए जनयत ककए गए कंप्यूटर में सेिा प्रदाता द्वारा इंजगत स्ट्थान म ें प्रत्येक उत्तर के जलए अंक प्रदान करेगा। २.५ प्रत्येक परीक्षक प्रजत समे ेस्ट्टर म ें प्रजत कदन अजधकतम ५० उत्तर पजत्रकाओं और अजधकतम १००० उत्तर पजत्रकाओं का मूल्यांकन कर सकता े।ै फैकल्टी की कमी या अन्य कगई कारणिि, यकद जििेष मूल्यांकनकताय द्वारा अजधक उत्तर पजत्रकाओं का मूल्यांकन ककया िाना े,ैं तग िगनल कगऑर्डयनेटर परीक्षा जनयंत्रक से जििेष अनुमगदन की मागं करेगा। २.६ यकद, उपयुयतिय २.५ म ें उजल्लजखत अनुसार १% स े अजधक की गलजतय के जलए uska/uski द्वारा मल्ू यांकन ककए गए उत्तर पजत्रकाओं में स े एक फैकल्टी कग जि्‍मेदार ठेराया िाता ेैं, तग उसे अन्य सभी पपे र के जलए भी कगई भी पाररश्रजमक का भुगतान नेीं ककया िाएगा। इसके अलािा ऐसी फैकल्टी कग अगल े दग अंजतम सेमेस्ट्टर परीक्षाओं के जलए ककसी भी उत्तर पजत्रकाओं का मूल्यांकन करने की अनुमजत नेीं दी िाएगी। २.७ प्रत्येक जिषय की उत्तर पजत्रकाओं की १/१००िीं की एक यादजृ च्छक िााँच स्ट्ितंत्र मूल्यांकन के जलए की िाएगी और ककसी भी मेत्िपूणय जिचलन कग समय-समय पर तैयार ककए गए उपयतियु तंत्र द्वारा संबगजधत ककया िाएगा और स्ट्कूल बगडों कग सूजचत ककया िाएगा। २.८ कुलपजत के अनुमगदन के साथ परीक्षा के पररणाम प्रकाजित ककए िाएंगे।14 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART III—SEC.4] ३. फगटगकॉपी िारी करना (मनै अु ल मल्ू याकं न की जस्ट्थजत म)ें ३.१ फंड रांसफर के ककसी भी इलेक्रॉजनक / ऑनलाइन माययम से या जिश्वजि्ालय द्वारा जनधायररत ऐसे अन्य तरीके स े उजचत आर्डयनेंस म ें जनधायररत ककये गए िुल्क के भुगतान पर, उत्तर पजत्रकाओं की फगटगकॉपी केिल फेल हुए उ्‍मीदिार कग िारी की िाएगी। ३.२. परीक्षा के पररणाम के प्रकािन की तारीख से ३ कदन के भीतर आिेदन ककया िाना चाजेए। ३.३. उत्तर पजत्रकाओं की फगटगकॉपी (ेाडयकॉपी) संबंजधत क्षेत्र से प्राप्त की िाएगी िेां मूल्यांकन ककया गया था और संबंजधत छात्र कग उत्तर पजत्रका जितररत करन े के जलए संबंजधत जनदेिक /प्राचायों कग भेिा िाता े।ैं ४. फगटगकॉपी िारी करना (ऑनलाइन मल्ू याकं न की जस्ट्थजत म)ें ४.१. पैरा ३.१ से ३.२ तक उजल्लजखत प्रकक्रया एक समान े।ै ४.२. छात्र द्वारा मांगी गई उत्तर पजत्रकाओं की सॉफ्ट (जडजिटल) कॉपी छात्र पगटयल में सक्षम की िाएगी, िग उत्तर पजत्रका देख सकते े।ैं इस जस्ट्थजत म,ें उत्तर पजत्रका की ेाडय कॉपी जितररत नेीं की िाएगी। ५. पनु ः मल्ू याकं न आिदे न प्रकक्रया ५.१. अनुत्तीण य जिषय की उत्तर पजत्रकाओं के पनु ः मूल्यांकन के जलए आिेदन पर केिल ितयमान परीक्षा िषय (यानी, परीक्षा के आयगिन के बाद और पररणाम की घगषणा स े पूि)य के जलए जिचार ककया िाएगा। प्रैजक्टकल परीक्षाओं, फील्ड काय,य आंतररक मल्ू यांकन, पेपर के बदल े म ें प्रस्ट्तुत की गई थीजसस आकद के जलए उत्तर पजत्रकाओं के पनु ः मूल्यांकन के जलए आिेदन पर जिचार नेीं ककया िाएगा। ५.२. पुनः मूल्यांकन के जलए आिेदन जनधायररत प्रपत्र में ककया िाएगा। ५.३. िब तक अन्यथा जिश्वजि्ालय द्वारा जनर्दिय नेीं ककया िाता ेै, पररणाम के प्रकािन की तारीख स े १० कदन के भीतर पनु ः मल्ू यांकन के जलए आिेदन प्रस्ट्तुत ककया िाना चाजेए। ५.४. जनधायररत अंजतम जतजथ के बाद प्राप्त आिेदन पर ककसी भी पररजस्ट्थजत में जिचार नेीं ककया िाएगा। ५.५. आर्डयनेंस के अनुसार उत्तर पजत्रकाओं के पुनः मूल्यांकन के जलए भेिा गया िल्ु क िापस नेीं ककया िाएगा। ६. पनु ःमल्ू याकं न के कदिाजनदेि ६.१ पनु ः मल्ू यांकन के जलए कदए गए पेपर का मूल्यांकन उसी परीक्षक द्वारा नेीं ककया िाना चाजेए जिसने पेला मूल्यांकन ककया े।ै ६.२ पुनः मल्ू यांकन के जलए कदए गए पेपर का ककसी भी परीक्षक द्वारा दगबारा मूल्यांकन नेीं ककया िाना चाजेए, िग उसी कैंपस / कॉलेि स े संबंजधत ेग, िेां उ्‍मीदिार उस पेपर के जलए उपजस्ट्थत ेगने स े पेल े अयययन करता था, जसिाय के केिल एक कैंपस / कॉलेि में एक काययक्रम आयगजित ककया िाता े।ै ६.३ परीक्षक कग पुनः मूल्यांकन के जलए प्रजत सत्र २५ से अजधक पेपर नेीं कदए िान े चाजेए। ६.४ पुनः मल्ू यांकन (दसू रे या तीसरे) के बाद, पुनः मल्ू याकं न में प्राप्त अंक कग अंजतम पररणाम के बाििूद ररिल्ट िीट में या तग पास या फेल अपलगड ककया िाएगा और निीनतम अकं कग माकय िीट म ेंदिायया िाएगा। ६.५ िे उ्‍मीदिार जिन्े ने या तग पुन: मल्ू यांकन या पुनःगणना के जलए आिेदन ककया था, उनकी माकयिीट पुन: मूल्यांकन/पनु ःगणना की प्रकक्रया पूरी ेगन े के बाद ेी िारी की िाएगी। ६.६. यकद एक परीक्षक का कायय पजत्रकाओं के २०% से अजधक म ें पुनःमल्ू यांकन में अंक की िृजद्ध या कमी की ओर िाता े,ै तग उजचत चैनल के माययम से संबंजधत परीक्षक से स्ट्पिीकरण मांगा िाएगा और आगे की कारयिाई के जलए उत्तर कग कुलपजत के सामने रखा िाएगा। ६.७. िेां पेल े और दसू रे मूल्यांकन के बीच १५% स े अजधक की जिजिधता े,ै तग पेपर कग तीसरे मल्ू यांकन के जलए भेिा िाएगा। अंजतम अकं तीन मल्ू याकं न म ेंस ेसिोत्तम दग का औसत ेगगा।[भाग III—खण् ड 4] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 15 ६.८. पुनःमूल्यांकन स े संबंजधत सभी कायों कग गगपनीय माना िाएगा और इसजलए अंतररम पछू ताछ पर जिचार नेीं ककया िाएगा। ६.९. भारतीय समुद्री जिश्वजि्ालय की अनुमगकदत दर पर पुनःमूल्यांकन के जलए पाररश्रजमक का भुगतान ककया िाएगा। ६.१०. कैंपस के जनदिे क / संबद्ध संस्ट्थान के प्राचायों कग परीक्षा के जनयंत्रक द्वारा आिंरटत कदन और जतजथ पर सिोच्च प्राथजमकता के आधार पर मल्ू यांकन (पनु ः मूल्यांकन/पुन: गणना सजेत) के जलए आिश्यक परीक्षक उपलब्ध कराने चाजेए। ६.११. आईएमय ू पररसर और संबद्ध संस्ट्थान की फैकल्टी जिन्े ने जपछल े सेमेस्ट्टर म ें एक जिषय पााया े,ै उन्े ें आईएमयू मुख्यालय द्वारा जनधारय रत अनुसार जबना चूके मूल्यांकन कायय (पुनःमल्ू यांकन/ पुन: गणना सजेत) में भाग लेना चाजेए। यकद कगई भी फैकल्टी मूल्यांकन (पुनःमल्ू यांकन/ पुन: गणना सजेत) के कायय म ें भाग लने े में जिफल रेता े,ै तग संबंजधत फैकल्टी कग तीन िषय के जलए जििर्ियत कर कदया िाएगा। यकद संस्ट्थान पयायप्त संख्या म ें फैकल्टी प्रदान करन े में जिफल रेता े,ै तग संस्ट्थान की संबद्धता की जनरंतरता पर भी इसका प्रजतकूल प्रभाि पड़ेगा। ७. पनु ःगणना ७.१. ऑनलाइन मल्ू यांकन की जस्ट्थजत म ेंकगई पनु ःगणना नेीं ेगती ेैं ७.२. उत्तर पजत्रकाओं की पुनःगणना के जलए आिेदन कग प्रैजक्टकल परीक्षा, कफल्ड काय,य आंतररक मूल्यांकन, एक पेपर के बदल ेप्रस्ट्ततु थीजसस के अलािा पूियस्नातक परीक्षा, स्नातकगत्तर परीक्षा के जलए जिचार ककया िाएगा। ७.३. पुन: गणना के जलए आिेदन कग जनधायररत प्रपत्र म ेंकरना ेगगा। ७.४. उत्तर पजत्रकाओं की पनु ःगणना के जलए भेिा गया िुल्क िापस नेीं ककया िाएगा। ७.५. पुनःगणना से संबंजधत सभी कायों कग गगपनीय माना िाएगा और इसजलए अंतररम पछू ताछ पर जिचार नेीं ककया िाएगा। ७.६. िब तक अन्यथा जिश्वजि्ालय द्वारा जनर्दिय नेीं ककया िाता ेै, पररणाम के प्रकािन की तारीख से ५ कदन के भीतर पुनः गणना के जलए आिेदन परीक्षा जनयंत्रक के कायायलय में पहुचं िाना चाजेए। ७.७. फैकल्टी द्वारा पनु ःगणना की िाएगी जिसे परीक्षा जनयंत्रक द्वारा नामांककत ककया िाएगा। ७.८. पुनःगणना के बाद, पुनःगणना में प्राप्त अंक कग अंजतम पररणाम के बाििूद ररिल्ट िीट म ें या तग पास या फेल अपलगड ककया िाएगा और निीनतम अंक कग माकय िीट म ेंदिायया िाएगा। ८. परीक्षा सजमजत ८.१ जिश्वजि्ालय म ें जि्ालय-िार परीक्षा सजमजत ेगगी। सजमजत की संरचना जनम्नजलजखत दग श्रेजणय के अनुसार ेगगी: क] ि ेजि्ालय िेा ाँआईएमय ूपररसर के अलािा सबं द्ध सस्ट्ं थान म ेंभी कायक्रय म सचं ाजलत सजमजत की बैठक के जलए कगरम बनाएंग े ८.४ इस सजमजत के कायों में जनम्नजलजखत िाजमल े ग:े (क) सजमजत समेककत पररणाम पर जिचार और अनुमगदन करेगी और उनके संबंजधत जि्ालय के परीक्षा पररणाम घगजषत करने की व्यिस्ट्था करेगी। (ख) इस तरे के अन्य कतयव्य और कायों िग अकादजमक पररषद द्वारा इसे सौंपा िा सकता ेै, बिते कक परीक्षा सजमजत जिश्वजि्ालय के ककसी अजधकारी कग उसके उपयुयतिय कगई भी या सभी अजधकार कग सौंप सकती े।ै " ९. उत्तर पजत्रका की समीक्षा: ९.१ छात्र (उत्तीणय और अनुत्तीण य दगन ) केिल छात्र पगटयल म ें उत्तर पजत्रकाओं की समीक्षा के जलए पंिीकरण कर सकते े।ैं ९.२ पुनःमूल्यांकन पररणाम के प्रकािन की जतजथ स े ५ कदन के भीतर समीक्षा के जलए आिेदन प्रस्ट्तुत ककया िाएगा िब तक कक जिश्वजि्ालय द्वारा अन्यथा जनर्दिय न ककया िाए। जनधायररत अंजतम जतजथ के बाद प्राप्त आिेदन पर ककसी भी पररजस्ट्थजत में जिचार नेीं ककया िाएगा। ९.३ समीक्षा के जलए जनधायररत िल्ु क (अस्ट्थायी आर्डनय ेंस के अनुसार) का भुगतान ऑनलाइन मगड के माययम से या ऐसे अन्य तरीके में ककया िाएगा िग जिश्वजि्ालय द्वारा जनधायररत ककया िा सकता े।ै ९.४ उत्तर पजत्रकाओं की समीक्षा करने के जलए, अकादजमक पररषद तीन-सदस्ट्य की सजमजत (जिषयिार) का गठन करेगा, जिसमें कुलपजत की जसफाररि के आधार पर आईएमय ूके बाेर के कैंपस/संबद्ध संस्ट्थान/ककसी संस्ट्थान के तीन जिषय के जििेषज्ञ िाजमल े गे। ९.५ सीओई ये सुजनजित कर सकता े ै कक सजमजत कग छात्र द्वारा प्राप्त ककए गए अंक का पता नेीं लग्न चाजेए और िेां भी संभि ेग, छात्र के समान पररसर/संस्ट्थान से फैकल्टी कग, पारदिी और स्ट्ितत्रं मूल्यांकन के जलए सजमजत का जेस्ट्सा नेीं बनाया िाना चाजेए। ९.६ सजमजत छात्र की उत्तर पजत्रका की समीक्षा करेगी और अंक में पररितयन पर की ररपगटय सीओई कग प्रस्ट्ततु करेगी (क) यकद एक छात्र िग मूल रूप से फेल हुआ े ै और समीक्षा के बाद पास अंक प्राप्त करता ेै, तग उसका अजं तम स्ट्कगर समीक्षा सजमजत द्वारा कदए िाने िाले अंक े गे।[भाग III—खण् ड 4] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 17 (ख) यकद एक छात्र िग पेल े ेी The Answer Scripts of all programmes have to be evaluated and marks for the same have to be captured on the OMR sheets. In case, an Examiner fails to award marks for an answer written by a student, remuneration for the answer scripts will not be paid to the Examiner. 1.10. In case, mistakes of more than 1% as mentioned in 1.9 above are attributable to one Faculty from among the Answer Scripts evaluated by Faculty, he/she will not be paid any remuneration at all for all the other papers also. Further such Faculty will not be allowed to evaluate any Answer Scripts for next two End Semester Examinations. 1.11. The results for the examination will be published with the approval of the Vice Chancellor. 2. In case of more Answer Scripts are to be evaluated by particular Evaluator either due to shortage of Faculty or for any other reason, the Zonal Coordinator shall seek special approval from the Controller of Examinations. 2.6 In case mistakes of more than 1% as mentioned in 2.5 above are attributable to one Faculty from among the Answer Scripts evaluated by him / her, he/she will not be paid any remuneration at all for all the other papers also. Further, he / she will not be allowed to evaluate any Answer Scripts for next two End Semester Examinations. 2.7 A random check of 1/100th of the answer scripts of each subject shall be undertaken for independent evaluation and any significant deviations will be addressed by a suitable mechanism devised from time to time and reported to School Boards. 2.8 The results for the examination will be published with the approval of the Vice Chancellor. 3. Issue of Photocopies (in the case of Manual Evaluation) 3.1. Photocopies of answer scripts will be issued to failed candidates only, on payment of fee prescribed in relevant Ordinance through any Electronic/Online mode of transfer of funds or in such other manner as may be prescribed by the University 3.2. The application must be made within 3 days from the date of publication of Examination results. 3.3. Photocopies (Hardcopy) of answer scripts will be obtained from the concerned zone where the evaluation were carried out and sent to the respective Directors/Principals in order to distribute the answer scripts to the concerned students.38 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART III—SEC.4] 4. Issue of Photocopies (in the case of Online Evaluation) 4.1. The procedure mentioned at para 3.1 to 3.2 are same. 4.2. In this case, hard copy of answer scripts will not be distributed. 5. Re-evaluation Application Procedure 5.1. Application for Re-evaluation of answer scripts of failed subjects will be considered only for the current exam season (i.e., after conduct of exam and before declaration of results). Application for re- evaluation of Answer Scripts will not be considered for Practical Examinations, Field work, internal assessments, thesis submitted in lieu of a papers etc. 5.2. Application for Re-evaluation shall be made in the prescribed form. 5.3. Application for Re-evaluation should be submitted within 10 days from the date of publication of the results unless otherwise specified by the University. 5.4. Applications received after the last date prescribed will not be considered under any circumstances. 5.5. Fee as per ordinance once remitted for Re-evaluation of answer scripts will not be refunded. 6. Re-evaluation Guidelines 6.1. The paper for Re-evaluation should not be valued by the same examiner who has done the first valuation. 6.2. The paper for Re-evaluation should not be revalued by any Examiner who belongs to the same campus/college where the candidate studied before appearing for that paper except where a Programme is conducted at only One Campus/College. 6.3. Not more than 25 papers per session should be given to an Examiner for Re-evaluation. 6.4. After the re-evaluation (either second or third), the marks obtained in the re-evaluation will be uploaded in the result sheet irrespective of the final result either pass or fail and the latest mark will be indicated in the marks sheet. 6.5. The mark sheets of the Candidates who had applied either for re-evaluation or retotalling will be issued only after the completion of the re-evaluation/retotalling process. 6.6. If the work of an Examiner leads to an increase or decrease of marks in Re-evaluation in more than 20% of the scripts, explanation shall be called for from the concerned Examiner through proper channel and the reply will be placed before the Vice-Chancellor for further action. 6.7. Where there is variation of more than 15% between the first and second valuation, the paper shall be sent for third valuation. The final marks shall be the average of best two among the three valuations. 6.8. All works relating to Re-evaluation will be treated as confidential and therefore interim enquiries will not be entertained. 6.9. Remuneration for Re-evaluation will be paid at the approved rates of Indian Maritime University. 6.10. The Directors of the Campuses /Principals of the Affiliated Institutes should make available the Examiners required for Evaluation (including Re-evaluation/Re-totalling) on top priority basis on the day and date allotted by the Controller of Examinations. 6.11. Faculties of IMU Campuses and Affiliated Institutes who have taught a subject in the previous semester must attend to the Evaluation work (including Re-evaluation/Re-totalling) as assigned by the IMU Headquarters without fail. If any Faculty fails to attend the work of Evaluation (including Re- evaluation/Re-totalling), then the concerned Faculty would be debarred for three years. This would also have an adverse effect on the continuation of the Affiliation of the institute in case the institute fails to provide sufficient number of faculty.[भाग III—खण् ड 4] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 39 7. Retotalling: 7.1. There is no retotalling in the case of Online Evaluation 7.2. Application for Re-totalling of answer scripts will be considered for Under Graduate Examinations, Post Graduate Examinations, other than Practical Examinations, field work, internal assessment, thesis submitted in lieu of a paper. 7.3. Application for Re-totalling shall be made in the prescribed form. 7.4. Fee once remitted for Re-totalling of answer scripts will not be refunded. 7.5. All works relating to Re-totalling will be treated, as confidential and therefore interim enquiries will not be entertained. 7.6. Application for Re-totalling should reach the Office of the Controller of Examinations within 5 days from the date of publication of the results unless otherwise specified by the University. 7.7. The Re-totalling will be done by the Faculty to be nominated by the Controller of Examinations. 7.8. Review of answer scripts: 9.1 The students (both passed and failed) can register for review of answer scripts only in the student Portal. 9.2 Application for Review shall be submitted within 5 days from the date of publication of the re- evaluation results unless otherwise specified by the University. Applications received after the last date prescribed will not be considered under any circumstances. 9.3 The prescribed fee (as per relevant Ordinance) for review shall be paid through online mode or in such other manners as may be prescribed by the University. 9.4 the Academic Council will constitute a three-member Committee (subject wise) comprising three subject experts from Campus/Affiliated Institute/any Institute outside the IMU based on the recommendation of the Vice Chancellor , to review the answer scripts. 9.5 The COE may ensure that the Committee should not know the marks secured by the students and wherever possible the Faculty from the same Campus/Institute of the student, should not be made as a part of Committee for transparent and independent evaluation. 9.6 The Committee will review the answer script of the student and submit the report on Change in Marks to the CoE: (a) If the student who has failed originally and obtain the pass mark after review, his/her final scores shall be the marks awarded by the review Committee. (b) If the student who has passed already and obtained an increase in marks after review, his/ her final scores shall be the marks awarded by the review Committee. (c) For the cases other than (a) and (b) as mentioned above, the final marks shall be the marks awarded by the Review Committee, even if he gets less marks in the Review. 9.7 All works relating to Review will be treated as confidential and therefore interim enquiries will not be entertained. 10. This Ordinance will supersede all the earlier Ordinances on this subject regarding Evaluation process and procedure for Re-evaluation, Re-totalling, Issue of Photocopy of Answer Scripts, Grace marks & Review of Answer Scripts. This will come into force with immediate effect.
