अनुसजच ीय सं गत समूह ‘ख’ पि ( ठरष्ट ि जनिी सजच , अनुभाग अजधकारी/कायातलय अधीिक, सहायक, आिुजलजपक
ग्रेड-I और लेखाकार) भती जनयम, 2021 ह।ै
(2) ये रािपत्र में उनके प्रकािन की तारीख कग प्र ृत्त ह गे।
2. आ ेिन - ये जनयम, इन जनयम में संलग्न अनुसूची के स्ट्त भं (1) में ज जनर्िष्टत पि पर लागू ह गे।

6. जिजथल करन े की िजतिय - िहां केेद्र ीय सरकार की यह राय ह ै दक ऐसा करना आ श् यक या समीचीन ह,ै हां ह
उसके जलए िग कारण ह,। उेह ें लेखबद्ध करके तथा संो लगक से ा आयगग से परामित करके इन जनयम के दकसी उपबंध कग
दकसी गत या प्र गत के व्य जतियय की बाबत, आििे द्वारा जिजथल कर सकेगी।
7. व् या ृजत्त - इन जनयम की कगई बात, ऐसे आरिण, आयु-सीमा में ूूट और अेय ठरयायत पर प्रभा नह डालेगी,
जिनका केे द्रीय सरकार द्वारा इस संबंध में समय-समय पर िारी दकए गए आििे के अनुसार अनुसूजचत िाजतय ,

G.S.R. 391(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 read with clause (a) of sub-
section (2) of section 25 of the National Investigation Agency Act, 2008 (34 of 2008), and in supersession
of the Ministry of Home Affairs, National Investigation Agency Senior Private Secretary and Stenographer
Grade-I Recruitment Rules, 2014, the Ministry of Home Affairs, National Investigation Agency (Group ‘B’
posts) Recruitment Rules, 2014 and the Ministry of Home Affairs, National Investigation Agency Group
‘A’ and ‘B’ posts Recruitment Rules, 2012, in so far as they relate to the post of Accountant except as
respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government hereby makes
the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the Group ‘B’ posts in the National
Investigation Agency, Ministry of Home Affairs, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement.–(1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Home Affairs,
National Investigation Agency Ministerial Cadre Group ‘B’ posts (Senior Private Secretary, Section
Officer/Office Superintendent, Assistant, Stenographer Grade-I and Accountant) Recruitment Rules, 2021.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Application.- These rules shall apply to the posts specified in column (1) of the Schedule annexed
to these rules.
3. Number of posts, classification and level in the pay matrix.– The number of posts, their
classification and level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the
aforesaid Schedule.
4. Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications, etc.– The method of recruitment, age- limit,
qualifications and other matters relating to the said posts shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the

5. Disqualification.–No person,-
(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person having a spouse living; or
(b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,
shall be eligible for appointment to the said posts:
Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the
personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds
for so doing, exempt any person from the operation of this rule.
6. Power to relax. – Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient
so to do, it may, by order, for reasons to be recorded in writing, and in consultation with the Union Public
Service Commission, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or category of
persons.
7. Saving.—Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age-limit and other
concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, the ex-servicemen and
other special categories of persons, in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from
time to time in this regard.
