NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 23rd September, 2015
G.S.R. 733 (E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 5, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 16, 17, 18, 21 and 44 of
the Arms Act, 1959 (54 of 1959), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Arms
Rules, 1962, namely: –
1. (1) These rules may be called the Arms (Amendment) Rules, 2015.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Arms Rules, 1962, in rule 54, in sub-rule (6) for the figures, letters and word “1st October, 2015”, the
figures, letters and word “1st April, 2016” shall be substituted.
