In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section 1 of section 4 of the New Delhi Municipal Council Act, 1994 44 of 1994, the Central Government hereby nominates Shri Dilip Kumar, Joint Secretary UT, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India as a member of the New Delhi Municipal Council
This notification, S.O. 44(E), issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on January 7, 2016, appoints Shri Dilip Kumar, Joint Secretary (UT), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, as a member of the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC). This appointment is made in exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 1 of section 4 of the New Delhi Municipal Council Act, 1994 (44 of 1994). The notification also amends the Ministry's earlier notification S.O. 2239(E) dated September 5, 2014, with effect from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. Specifically, it substitutes item number ci and the related entry in paragraph 1 of the original notification with the following: "Shri Dilip Kumar, Joint Secretary (UT), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India" with File No. 14011/23/2014-Delhi-II. The original notification S.O. 2239(E) was previously amended via notifications S.O. 2827(E) dated November 5, 2014, S.O. 609(E) dated February 24, 2015, S.O. 681(E) dated March 5, 2015, and S.O. 1848(E) dated July 8, 2015. S. O. 44(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the New Delhi Municipal
Council Act, 1994 (44 of 1994), the Central Government hereby nominates Shri Dilip Kumar, Joint Secretary (UT),
Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India as a member of the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), and for
that purpose, makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of
Home Affairs, number S.O. 2239(E), dated 5th September, 2014 with effect from the date of publication of this
notification in the Official Gazette, namely:-
In the said notification, in paragraph 1, for Item No.(c)(i) and the entry relating thereto, the following item
number and entry shall be substituted namely:—
