NOTIFICATION
New Delhi the 21st February, 2020
S.O. 797(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Unlawful
Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 (37 of 1967), the Central Government hereby constitutes “The Unlawful
Activities (Prevention) Tribunal” consisting of Shri Justice H.S. Thangkhiew, Senior Judge of Meghalaya High
Court, for the purpose of adjudicating whether or not there is sufficient cause for declaring the Hynniewtrep
National Liberation Council (HNLC) of Meghalaya as unlawful association.
Earlier Notification No. 4454 (E), dated 13th December, 2019, issued in this regard, stands cancelled.
