S.O. 3160(E).– In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (3) of Section 11 of the National
Investigation Agency Act, 2008 (34 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government, hereby
notifies the Court of 1st Additional Sessions Judge, Jagdalpur, as Special Court for Civil District Uttar Bastar Kanker,
Bastar at Jagdalpur, Dakshin Bastar (Dantewada) and Kondagaon of Chhattisgarh for the purposes of the said sub-
section (1) of Section 11 of the said Act for trial of schedule offences and on the recommendations of the Hon’ble Chief
Justice of the High Court of Chhatisgarh, Bilaspur, appoints Shri Shailesh Kumar Ketarap, 1st Additional Sessions
Judge, Jagdalpur as a “Judge” to preside over the said Special Court.

S.O.3161(E). – Whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 11 of the National
Investigation Agency Act, 2008 (34 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government had, (cid:118)(cid:100)(cid:105)(cid:101)
notification number S. O. 2157 (E) dated the 1st September, 2010, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part
II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 1st September, 2010, notified the Court of the District and Sessions Court,
Bilaspur presided over by Smt. Anita Jha as the Special Court for the purposes of sub-section (1) of Section 11 of the
said Act having Jurisdiction throughout the State of Chhattisgarh for the trial of schedule offences;
And whereas, Smt. Anita Jha who presided over the Court of the District and Sessions Court, Bilaspur has been
transferred;
And whereas, the Central Government has decided to constitute a separate Special Court for the Civil District
Uttar Bastar Kanker, Bastar at Jagdalpur, Dakshin Bastar (Dantewada) and Kondagaon in Chhattisgarh for trial of
schedule offences;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (3) of Section 11 of the said Act and
in supersession of the notification number S. O. 2157 (E), dated the 1st September, 2010, except as respects things done
or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government hereby notifies the District and Sessions Court,
Bilaspur as the Special Court for purposes of the said sub-section (1) of Section 11 of the said Act for trial of Schedule
Offences throughout the State of Chhattisgarh except the Civil District Uttar Bastar Kanker, Bastar at Jagdalpur, Dakshin
Bastar (Dantewada) and Kondagaon and on the recommendations of the Chief Justice of the High Court of Chhattisgarh
appoints Shri Ram Prasanna Sharma, Sessions Judge, Bilaspur as a “Judge” to preside over the said Special Court.
