New Delhi, the 27th July, 2016
S.O. 2556(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 11 of the National
Investigation Agency Act, 2008 (34 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government, hereby
notifies the Court of II Additional District and Sessions Judge, Krishna at Vijayawada-cum-Metropolitan Sessions Judge,
Vijayawada as “Special Court” for trial and disposal of Scheduled Offences investigated by National Investigation
Agency, having jurisdiction over the entire State of Andhra Pradesh.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (3) of section 11 of National Investigation
Agency Act, 2008 (Act 34 of 2008), the Central Government, on the recommendation of the Hon’ble Acting Chief
Justice of High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for the State of Telengana and the State of Andhra Pradesh, hereby
appoints Sri R. Niranjan, II Additional District and Sessions Judge, Krishna at Vijayawada-cum-Metropolitan Sessions
Judge, Vijayawada as “Special Judge” to preside over the said Special Court.
