New Delhi, the 30th June, 2017
G.S.R. 837(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) read with clauses (a) and (c) of sub-
section (2) of section 155 of the Sashastra Seema Bal Act, 2007 (53 of 2007), the Central Government hereby makes the
following rules to amend the Sashastra Seema Bal, Group 'A' Combatised Engineering Cadre Recruitment Rules, 2015,
namely:-
1. (1) These rules may be called the Sashastra Seema Bal, Group 'A' Combatised Engineering Cadre
Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2017.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Sashastra Seema Bal, Group "A" Combatised Engineering Cadre Recruitment Rules, 2015,-4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(i)]
(1) in rule 3, for the words "pay band and grade pay or pay scale" at both the places, the words "level in
the pay matrix" shall be substituted;
(2) in the Schedule,-
(a) against serial number 1 relating to the post of Inspector General (Works),-
(i) in column (4), for the heading and the entries relating thereto, the following heading and entries
shall be substituted, namely:-
