NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 18th January, 2018
G.S.R. 41(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution,
President hereby makes the following rules to amend the National Fire Service College, Nagpur, Professor,
Associate Professor and Assistant Professor (Academic Group ‘A’ Posts) Recruitment Rules, 2017, namely: -
1. (1) These rules may be called the National Fire Service College, Nagpur, Professor, Associate Professor
and Assistant Professor (Academic Group ‘A’ Posts) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2017.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the National Fire Service College, Nagpur, Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor
(Academic Group ‘A’ Posts) Recruitment Rules, 2017, in the Schedule, in the entries, relating to the post of
Assistant Professor, under column (7) under the sub-heading ‘Desirable’, for serial number 1 and the entries
relating thereto, the following serial number 1 and entries, shall be substituted, namely: -
“1. Teaching, research, industrial or professional experience in the relevant branch of Engineering and
Technology in the recognised Research Institutions or Universities or Semi-Government or Autonomous
Bodies or Statutory Organisations or Institutions under the direct control of the Central Government or
State Government or Union Territories administration or Public Sector Undertakings.”
