NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 16th January, 2018
G.S.R. 37(E).————In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution,
the President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Conditions of Service of Union Territory of
Chandigarh Employees Rules, 1992, namely:—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Conditions of Service of Union Territory of Chandigarh
Employees (Amendment) Rules, 2018.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Conditions of Service of Union Territory of Chandigarh Employees Rules, 1992, in rule 2,
after the proviso, the following proviso shall be inserted , namely:—
“Provided further that notwithstanding any condition of service of persons appointed to the posts
in Group A, B, C and D under the administrative control of the Administrator of Union Territory
of Chandigarh, such persons shall be subject to transfer from one department to another so long
as such transfer does not adversely affect pay and allowances, seniority or promotion and all
other financial benefits applicable to such persons”.
