G.S.R.100(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution,
the President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the National Capital Territory of Delhi,
Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Daman and Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli (Police Service)
Rules, 2003 read with the National Capital Territory of Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep,
Daman and Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli (Police Service) Amendment Rules, 2009, namely:—¹Hkkx IIµ[k.M 3(i)º Hkkjr dk jkti=k % vlk/kj.k 3
1. (1) These rules may be called the National Capital Territory of Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar
Islands, Lakshadweep, Daman and Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli (Police Service)
Amendment Rules, 2018.
(2) These rules shall come into force on the date of their publication in the official gazette.
2. In the National Capital Territory of Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Daman and
Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli (Police Service) Rules, 2003 read with National Capital Territory of
Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Daman and Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli
(Police Service) Amendment Rules, 2009 notified vide G.S.R. 403(E), dated 11th June, 2009
(hereinafter referred to as the said rules) for Part A (b), Part A (c) & Part C under Schedule I shall be
substituted, namely:—
