NOTIFICATION
Mumbai, the 8th May 2019
No. TAMP/21/2009-WS.—In pursuance of Ministry of Shipping (MOS) letter No.IWT/11(28) 2018-IWT dated
30 January 2019, the Tariff Authority for Major Ports hereby extends the validity of the ‘Policy for Determination of
Tariff for Major Port Trusts, 2015’ notified vide Order dated 27 January 2015, as in the Order appended hereto.

The Ministry of Shipping (MOS) vide its communication No. 8(1)/2014-TAMP dated 13 January 2015 issued
Tariff Policy for Determination of Tariff for Major Port Trusts, 2015 which was notified by the Authority in the Gazette
of India vide Gazette vide G.No. 30 dated 27 January 2015. The said Policy was to remain in force for a period of 3 years
i.e. up to 12 January 2018.
2. The MOS vide its letter No.IWT/11(28) 2018 IWT dated 30 January 2019 has conveyed to this Authority the
extension of the validity of ‘Policy for Determination of Tariff for Major Port Trusts, 2015’ from 13 January 2018 to
25 December 2018.
3. Accordingly, the validity of the ‘Policy for Determination of Tariff for Major Port Trusts, 2015’ is extended
from 13 January 2018 to 25 December 2018. This extension is applicable only to Major Port Trusts whose regulation of
tariffwas governed by the said ‘Policy for Determination of Tariff for Major Port Trusts, 2015’.
