NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 12th December, 2017
S.O. 3870(E).—In pursuance of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 239 of the Constitution,
the President hereby directs that the powers and functions of the State Government under the Rights of
Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (49 of 2016) shall, subject to the control of the President and until further
orders, be exercised and discharged by the Administrators of all the Union Territories (whether known as
Lieutenant Governor or Administrator) within their respective jurisdiction of Union Territories.
