NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 5th December, 2017
S.O. 3836(E).—In pursuance of the powers conferred under clause (1) of article 239 of the
Constitution, the President hereby directs that the powers and functions of the State Government under the
Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, 2016 (18 of 2016)
shall, subject to the control of the President and until further orders, be exercised and discharged by the
Administrator (whether known as Administrator or Lieutenant Governor) of all the Union territories within
their respective jurisdiction of Union territories.
