धारा 156 की उप-धारा (2) के खंड (ख) द्वारा प्रित्त िजियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, भारत-जतब्बत सीमा पुजलस बल, साधारण
ड्यूटी काडर (समूह ‘ग’ पि) भती जनयम, 2022 म ेंऔर संिोधन करने हते ु जनम्न जलजखत जनयम बनाती ह,ै अर्ाात ् :-
1. सजं िप्त नाम और प्रारंभ.— (1) इन जनयमों का संजिप् त नाम भारत-जतब्बत सीमा पुजलस बल, साधारण ड्यूटी काडर
(समूह ‘ग’ पि) भती (संिोधन) जनयम, 2026 ह।ै
(2) य ेरािपत्र में उनके प्रकािन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे।
2. भारत-जतब्बत सीमा पुजलस बल, साधारण ड्यूटी काडर (समूह ‘ग’ पि) भती जनयम, 2022 की अनुसूची म,ें कांस्ट् टेबल
(साधारण ड्यूटी) के पि से संबंजधत क्रम संख् याक 3 के सामने,—

(क) स्ट् तंभ (6) म,ें टटप् पण 2 के पश् चात् जनम्नजलजखत टटप् पण अतं :स्ट्र् ाजपत दकया िाएगा, अर्ाता ्:-
“टटप्प ण 3: आय-ु सीमा अवधाटरत करने के जलए जनणाायक तारीख वही होगी, िो कमाचारी चयन आयोग
या संबंजधत नोडल बल द्वारा जवज्ञाजपत की गई हो।”;
(ख) स्ट् तंभ (7) म,ें—
(i) मि (ii) के पश् चात्, जनम्नजलजखत मि अंत:स्ट्र् ाजपत की िाएगी, अर्ाता ्:-
“(iii) अभ् यर्ी को भती जवज्ञापन में उजल्लजखत कांस्ट् टेबल (साधारण ड्यूटी) के जलए जवजहत िारीटरक ििता
परीिा और जलजखत परीिा म ेंअर्हता होना होगा।”;
(ii) टटप् पण के स्ट्र्ान पर जनम्नजलजखत टटप् पण रखा िाएगा, अर्ाात्:-
“टटप्प ण: भूतपूव ा अजिवीरों को जलजखत परीिा, िारीटरक मानक परीिा और िारीटरक ििता परीिा स े
छूट प्रिान की िाएगी।”;
(ग) स्ट्त ंभ (10) म,ें टटप् पण के स्ट्र् ान पर जनम्न जलजखत टटप् पण रखा िाएगा, अर्ाात:् -
“टटप्प ण 1: प्रत् यके भती वर् ाम ेंकांस्ट् टेबल (साधारण ड्यूटी) के पि पर भती के जलए कुल टरजियों का पचास
प्रजतित भतू पूवा अजिवीरों के जलए आरजित होगा।
टटप्प ण 2: प्रर्म चरण म,ें भतू पूवा अजिवीरों के जलए आरजित पचास प्रजतित टरजियों पर भती संबंजधत
नोडल बल द्वारा या गृह मंत्रालय द्वारा समय-समय पर िारी जनिेिों के आधार पर आयोजित होगी।
टटप्प ण 3: जद्वतीय चरण म,ें िर्े पचास प्रजतित टरजियों और प्रर्म चरण म ें टरक्त रह गई टरजियों पर
भती, जवद्यमान उपबंधों के आधार पर खलु ी प्रजतयोगी परीिा के माध् यम स े या गृह मंत्रालय द्वारा समय-
समय पर िारी जनिेिों के आधार पर आयोजित होगी।
टटप्प ण 4: जवजभन्न आरजित वगों के जलए जवद्यमान आरिण संबंधी प्रावधान िोनों चरणों म ेंलागू होंगे।”।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 24th July, 2026
G.S.R. 658(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (2) of section 156 of the
Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force Act, 1992 (35 of 1992), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules
further to amend the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force, General Duty Cadre (Group ‘C’ Posts) Recruitment Rules, 2022,
namely :—
1. Short title and commencement.— (1) These rules may be called the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force,
General Duty Cadre (Group ‘C’ Posts) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2026.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force, General Duty Cadre (Group ‘C’ Posts) Recruitment Rules, 2022, in
the Schedule, against serial number 3 relating to the post of Constable (General Duty),—
(a) in column (6), after Note 2, the following Note shall be inserted, namely:-
“Note 3: The Crucial date for determination of the age-limit shall be as advertised by the Staff
Selection Commission or the concerned Nodal Force.”;
(b) in column (7),—
(i) after item (ii), the following item shall be inserted, namely:-
“(iii) Must qualify Physical Efficiency Test and written examination as prescribed for Constable
(General Duty) mentioned in the advertisement for recruitment.”;
(ii) for the Note, the following Note shall be substituted, namely:-
“Note : Ex-Agniveers shall be exempted from written examination, Physical Standard Test and
Physical Efficiency Test .”;
(c) in column (10), for the Note, the following Notes shall be substituted, namely :-
“Note 1: Fifty per cent vacancies shall be reserved for ex-Agniveers for recruitment to the post of
Constable (General Duty) in every recruitment year.
Note 2: In the first phase, the recruitment shall be conducted by the Nodal Force for fifty per cent
vacancies earmarked for ex-Agniveer or as per the instructions issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs
from time to time.
Note 3: In the second phase, recruitment will be conducted through open examination as per the
existing provisions against the remaining fifty per cent of the vacancies along with the unfilled
vacancies of the first phase or as per the instructions issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs from
time to time.
Note 4: The existing provisions of reservation for various categories will be applicable for both
phases.”.
