G.O.Ms.No.376, PR & RD (RD.II) Department, dt:8.11.2010 2. Note.1239/EGS/DyEE (SS)/2011 of Commissioner, Rural Development, Dt.24.12.2011. ORDER In reference 1st read above, Government have appointed Sri Krishnamurthy, Engineer-in-Chief, PR (Retd) as Chief Quality Control Officer MGNREGA. 2. In the reference 2nd read above, Commissioner, Rural Development has requested to sanction the post of Additional Chief Quality Control Officer as the work load in RD is increased, because of new Schemes like IWMP and IJP and submitted the proposal to appoint Sri. H.Umakanta Rao, Chief Engineer, RWS (Retd) as Additional Chief Quality Control Officer. 3. Government after careful consideration of the proposal of the Commissioner, Rural Development, Hyderabad, hereby appoint Sri. H.Umakanta Rao, Chief Engineer, RWS (Retd) as Additional Chief Quality Control Officer for a period of one year. 4. Subsequent to the appointment of Sri. H.Umakanta Rao as Additional Chief Quality Control Officer, the jurisdiction of the Quality Control Wing, RD is modified as follows. i. The Quality Control Wing is subdivided into two parts, Quality Control North West (Telengana 9 districts) and Quality Control South East (13 districts of Andhra, Rayalaseema). ii. Sri. H.Umakanta Rao, Additional Chief Quality Control Officer will be the in-charge for Quality Control North West wing, to look after the quality control activities of all RD works in addition to this work he will assist the Commissioner, RD to provide technical guidance in IWMP and IJP. iii. Sri G.Krishna Murthy, the Chief Quality Control Officer will be in-charge for Quality Control South East wing to look after the quality control activities of all RD works. iv. Sri. R.Kondala Rao, Technical Advisor to Government, shall monitor the Quality Control Wing at State level. Contd.-2- 5. On assuming charge, Sri. H.Umakanta Rao shall be paid a monthly honorarium of Rs.45,000/- (Rupees forty five thousand only) and provided with a car, supporting staff and allowances for official tours meeting the cost from the 6% administrative charges under MGNREGS. 6.
