ORDER:
In the reference 2nd read above, the District Collector, Mahabubnagar
District has sent a proposal for inclusion of surrounding three (3) Gram
Panchayats i.e., Nagavaram, Srinivasapuram and Narasingayapally of
(Thadiparthi Revenue village) into the Wanaparthy Municipal limits of
Mahabubnagar District through Commissioner & Director of Municipal
Administration, Hyderabad vide reference 3rd read above. All the (3) Gram
Panchayats have not accepted the said proposal.
2) In the reference 4th read above, a show-cause notice to the Gram
Panchayats, Nagavaram, Srinivasapuram and Narasingayapally of (Thadiparthi
Revenue Village) have been issued asking them as to why the resolution passed
by the respective Gram Panchayats cannot be cancelled. In response to the
show cause notice, the District Collector, Mahabubnagar has stated that all the
(3) Gram Panchayats have opposed the proposed merger on various reasons as
mentioned in the respective resolutions including the reason that the existing
taxes would be enhanced abnormally.
3) Government have examined the objections raised by the above Gram
Panchayats i.e., Nagavaram, Srinivasapuram and Narasingayapally of
(Thadiparthi Revenue Village) and found that the objections are mere

apprehensions without any basis and that there is no substance in any of the
objections put forth by the Gram Panchayats. The decision of inclusion of
surrounding Gram Panchayats i.e.,Nagavaram, Srinivasapuram and
Narasingayapally of (Thadiparthi Revenue Village) into Wanaparthy Municipality
in Mahabubnagar District has been taken in the larger interests of the people of

amenities to the public, and hence the Government have felt that the objections
raised by the Gram Panchayats, Nagavaram, Srinivasapuram and
Narasingayapally of (Thadiparthi Revenue Village) are not maintainable and do
not deserve consideration. Therefore, the Government have decided to cancel
the resolutions passed by the said Gram Panchayats, and also decided to
include the above (3) Gram Panchayats into Wanaparthy Municipality in
Mahabubnagar District.
4) Government, after careful examination have decided to cancel the
Notifications issued, declaring the Nagavaram, Srinivasapuram and
Narasingayapally of (Thadiparthi Revenue Village) as Gram Panchayat, so as to
include the areas into Wanaparthy Municipality in Mahabubnagar District.
