Memo 2nd read above the Commissioner, Panchayat Raj & Rural Employment Hyderabad, has reported that the District Panchayat Officer, Nalgonda has informed that the existing Anjanapally Gram Panchayat has four (4) habitations i.e. Anjanapally, Palthi Thanda, Neelaigudem and Ghantarao Camp. The proposed bifurcation of Anjanapalli Gram Panchayat involves deleting Neelaigudem and Ghantarao Camp and constituting them as a new Gram Panchayat namely Neelaigudem Gram Panchayat. The proposal for bifurcation was examined with regard to the population, distance between habitations, income criteria etc., and found that criteria prescribed on distance, population and income in G.O., 1st read above are satisfied for bifurcation of existing Anjanapally Gram Panchayat into Anjanapally Gram Panchayat( including Anjanapally and Palthi Thanda habitation) and Neelaigudem Gram Panchayat (including Neelaigudem and Ghantarao Camp habitations). 2. Further, at present the Gram Panchayat Anjanapally is located in Anjanpally MPTC. Even after bifurcation the boundaries of MPTC Anjanpally will not change because both of the proposed Anjanapally and Neelaigudem Gram Panchayats continue to be the part of Anjanapally MPTC. Moreover, the Gram Pachayat Anjanapally has passed resolution to bifurcate the Gram Panchayat into two (2) Gram Panchayats namely Anjanapally and Neelaigudem vide resolution dt.02.07.2011. 3. Government after careful examination of the matter, and keeping in view of the above resolution of the Gram Panchayat Anjanapally and the report of the Commissioner, Panchayat Raj and Rural Employment, Hyderabad have decided to bifurcate the Anjanapally Gram Panchayat into Anjanapally Gram Panchayat (including Anjanapally and Palthi Thanda) and Neelaigudem Gram Panchayat (including Neelaigudem and Palthi Thanda habitations) in Tripuraram Mandal, Nalgonda Dist, in relaxation of ban on bifurcation orders issued in G.O.Rt.No.1634, PR & RD (Pts.IV) Dept., dt.12.10.2001. 4. Accordingly, the following notification will be published in an Extraordinary Issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette dated:13-02-2012. P.T.O.:: 2 :: 5. NOTIFICATION In exercise of the powers conferred under clauses (a) and (f) of sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, (Andhra Pradesh Act 13 of 1994) the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby cancels the notification in which the villages Anjanapally, Palthi Thanda, Neelaigudem and Ghantarao Camp in Nalgonda District declared as villages in order to bifurcate the said villages from Anjanapally Gram Panchayat and to constitute as new Gram Panchayats i.e. Anjanapally Gram Panchayat (including Anjanapally and Palthi Thanda habitations) and Neelaigudem Gram Panchayat (including Neelaigudem and Ghantarao Camp habitations) in Tripuraram Mandal, Nalgonda District with immediate effect.
