APNA-NGOs, State level meeting minutes held on 31.12.2011 ****** O R D E R : The Government in the GO reference 1st read above, have issued orders on Rural Standard Schedule of Rates (RSSR) for unskilled manual task in works taken up under NREGS. The Government of India in reference 2nd read above have notified the minimum wage by revising the minimum wage for unskilled manual work taken up under NREGS from Rs.100/- to Rs.121/-. Accordingly, the Government in the GO 3rd read above has revised the minimum wage for unskilled manual work taken up under NREGS from Rs.100 to Rs.121/-. In the GO 4th read above, the Government has revised the RSSR rates to meet the minimum wage within the NREGS specified time with effect from 02.02.2011. 2. The APNA in the reference 5th read above has reported that during the state level meeting some of the NGO partners raised the point that the present piece rates are (RSSR) not giving specified wage rates i.e Rs.121 per day, even though they are working NREGS specified time. In that context work time –motion studies have been taken up for some works through active APNA NGO partners, with an objective of quick study to compare the present RSSR rates with field reality. Hence, the Commissioner RD has proposed some changes in the piece rates of some tasks based on the outcomes of the work time motion studies. 3. Government after careful examination of the above proposal hereby issue orders to enhance the certain piece rates as listed in annexure-I. 4. The Commissioner, RD will bring in to force the piece rates of those works with the new piece rates in the ongoing works and shelf of works. These orders shall come into effect immediately. 5.
