Dr. Laxman Kumarwad, Regional Director, Indira Gandhi National Open University
(IGNOU) Regional Centre, Nagpur, conducted an informative session at the NDRF
Academy on the diverse academic programmes and learning opportunities offered
by IGNOU.
During the session, Dr. Kumarwad highlighted IGNOU's undergraduate,
postgraduate, diploma, certificate, and skill-based programmes, emphasizing the
flexibility of the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) system. He explained how
IGNOU enables working professionals, uniformed personnel, and learners from all
walks of life to pursue quality higher education without interrupting their careers.The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from officers, course
participants, and their family members, who interacted actively and sought
guidance on admissions, programme selection, and learner support services.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Laxman Kumarwad said, "IGNOU is committed to
