**Summary:**

Will the Minister of HOME AFFAIRS be pleased to state:
(a) the number of cases registered by the Enforcement Directorate (ED),
Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and other Central agencies in the
country during the last five years, year-wise;
(b) the conviction rate in the cases filed by these agencies and the number
of individuals have been convicted during the said period; and
(c) the total value of cash and properties confiscated from the accused
and the money actually been realised from convicted persons during the
such period?

(a): The enforcement agency under the Ministry of Home Affairs is the
National Investigation Agency (NIA). NIA has registered 59, 61, 73, 68, 80
and 32 cases in the year 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 (till
30.06.2025) respectively.
(b): During the last 05 years, the number of individuals convicted in the
cases registered by NIA is 367 and the conviction rate is 97.08%.
(c): During the last 05 years, an amount of Rs. 114.11 crore has been
confiscated/attached by NIA, out of which properties worth Rs. 29,31,500
have been realized from the convicted persons.
