Will the Minister of HOME AFFAIRS be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government proposes to provide CGHS facility to the
serving and retired personnel of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and
their families in Sikar;
(b) if so, by when and if not, the reasons therefor; and
(c) the time by which the Government proposes to start canteen facility
for CAPF in Sikar district and Shekhawati region of Sikar and if not, the
reasons therefor?

(a) & (b): CGHS (Central Government Health Scheme) facilities are
available in 80 cities for employees of Central Government including
serving & Ex-CAPF personnel. There is also provision for Fixed Medical
Allowance (FMA) @ Rs. 1000/- per month or coverage of composite hospital
facility of CAPF for those who do not opt for CGHS facility. Serving and Ex-
CAPF personnel and their families of Sikar District can also avail CGHS
facility from their nearby CGHS dispensary/empanelled Hospital.-2-
