CISF TRAINING CENTRES
364. DR. MOHAMMAD JAWED:
Will the Minister of HOME AFFAIRS be pleased to state:
(a) whether a new CISF training centre has been proposed for Kishanganj and
the completion timelines for the same and if so, the details thereof;
(b) whether any disputes have been raised by the local farmers regarding the
allocation of land for the training centre and if so, the details thereof; and
(c) whether adequate compensation has been provided for acquisition of land,
if so, the details thereof?
ANSWER

(SHRI NITYANAND RAI)
(a): The establishment of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Training
Centre at Kishanganj, Bihar has been approved.
(b) & (c): The land allotted for the CISF Training Centre is Government land.
No dispute has been reported in this regard.
