Will the Minister of HOME AFFAIRS be pleased to state:
(a) whether a Department of Indian Languages has been established by the
Government;
(b) whether standard operating procedures for integration of technology in
promotion of Indian languages have been formulated by the Government
under this section;
(c) if so, the details thereof;
(d) whether the Government ensures that the linguistic accuracy and
authenticity of the translated documents is maintained sc that
interpretation related problems do not arise; and
(e) if so, the preventive measures or quality check mechanisms put in place
to achieve this purpose?

(a) to (e): Bhartiya Bhasha Anubhag has been set up under the Department
of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs for translation of the
correspondence between Central Government and State Government in the
first Official Language of their respective states.
