Parliament Question: eAwas system in Central Armed Police Forces

GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS RAJYA SABHA UNSTARRED QUESTION NO. 1343 TO BE ANSWERED ON THE 11TH FEBRUARY, 2026/ MAGHA 22, 1947 (SAKA) eAWAS SYSTEM IN CENTRAL ARMED POLICE FORCES 1343 # SHRI BABURAM NISHAD: Will the Minister of HOME AFFAIRS be pleased to state: (a) the system through which family accommodation is allotted to personnel of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs); (b) the number of CAPF personnel who have been allotted family accommodation through the CAPF eAwas system, force-wise details thereof; (c) whether the facility of inter-force accommodation allotment is available through this system; and (d) if so, the total number of personnel who have been allotted inter-force accommodation so far? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS (SHRI NITYANAND RAI) (a) CAPF eAwas web-portal has been launched on 01.09.2022 for online allotment of family accommodation to personnel of CAPFs & AR. (b) From 01.09.2022 to 05.02.2026, total 1,46,566 family accommodation have been allotted to the personnel of CAPFs & AR through CAPF eAwas. Force-wise detail is enclosed at Annexure-I. (c)&(d) Yes.
