Will the Minister of HOME AFFAIRS be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Identity card is proof as a Indian citizen, if so, the details
thereof; and
(b) the details of cards which as per Hon'ble Court is admissible ID proof as
a Indian citizen?

(a) & (b): The Citizenship Act, 1955, as amended in 2004, provides the
