Will the Minister of HOME AFFAIRS be pleased to state:
(a) the number of liquor licences issued by the UT administration of
Dadra and Nagar Haveli during the last five years along with the details
thereof;
(b) the number of liquor licences issued (both wholesale and retail) and
the names of license holders;
(c) the details of shops/stores operated by the license-holders;
(d) the amount of the revenue generated by the excise department
through issuance of the said licenses;
(e) whether the work applications were invited against the said licences;
(f) if so, the details of the number of applications received; and
(g) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) to (g): The Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu
Administration has informed that 15 applications for liquor licences were
received and 15 liquor licenses have been issued during the last 05 years.
The details of license holders and their shops/stores are at Annexure ‘A’. A
total revenue of Rs. 58,25,000/- has been generated by the Excise
Department of UT Administration through these licenses.
