(a) the number of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) loans sanctioned and disbursed
in Ramanathapuram, Tiruvannamalai and Kanchippuram districts during the last financial year under
various MSME support schemes;
(b) the amount sanctioned and disbursed, sector-wise;
(c) whether MSME outreach programs, loan awareness camps and road safety awareness drives
have been conducted to support local entrepreneurs in these districts, if so, the details thereof;
(d) the details of special assistance provided for agro-based, textile and value-added service units
of MSMEs in these districts; and
(e) the targeted employment and skill-development outcomes expected from MSME support?

(c): Ministry of MSME through its field offices regularly organizes awareness campaigns for
awareness of various Government schemes /programmes, in coordination with MSME/ Industry
Departments of States/UTs concerned and other MSME stakeholders through physical workshops,
social media, print media & electronic media for creating wide publicity for increasing participation
from all range of stakeholders.
(d) & (e): The Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises has taken various initiatives to
assist and improve the skills of the workforce in the MSME sector including agro-based, textile and
value-added service units. The Ministry conducts skilling and upskilling programmes through its
schemes and programme viz. Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Programme (ESDP) scheme,
Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), Skill Upgradation and Mahila Coir
Yojana, SCST Hub, Assistance to Training Institutions (ATI) Scheme, A Scheme for promotion of
Innovation, Rural Industry & Entrepreneurship (ASPIRE) and training through Technology Centres
set up across the country including in Ramanathapuram, Tiruvannamalai and Kanchippuram districts.
