Will the Minister of MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government proposes to promote Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises
(MSME) and industrial development in Warangal district, including through cluster development,
export facilitation and improved access to institutional credit and if so, the details thereof;
(b) whether any projects/initiatives have been sanctioned or supported for Warangal under
MSME Cluster Development Programme (MSE-CDP), Districts as Export Hubs and other
industrial infrastructure initiatives during the last three years;
(c) if so, the details thereof including funds sanctioned/released, expected employment and
implementation status; and
(d) the steps being taken to improve market linkages and reduce logistics costs for MSMEs in
Warangal through integration with PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan, logistics parks, testing
facilities and export promotion support?

(a) to (c): Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India proposes
schemes to promote Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) in the country including
Warangal District through cluster development, export facilitation and improved access to
institutional credit. The details of initiatives and sanctioned project are as follows:
i. Three Infrastructure Development (ID) projects have been approved under Micro and
Small Enterprises-Cluster Development Programme (MSE-CDP) since inception of scheme
in Warangal Rural & Warangal District in Telangana with total project cost Rs. 3620.64
Lakh and GoI grant Rs. 2580.84 Lakh out of which one project has been completed.
ii. One Technology Centre (TC) in Warangal District of Telangana has been approved in
scheme for “Establishment of New Technology Centres/ Extension Centres” of this
Ministry and is under implementation.
iii. The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises has established 02 Export
Facilitation Centers (EFCs) in Central Institute of Tool Design (CITD), Hyderabad and
MSME-Development and Facilitation Office, Hyderabad providing requisite mentoring
and hand-holding support to MSMEs in exporting their products and services including
Warangal District in Telangana.: 2 :
iv. Ministry of MSME, Government of India has undertaken several initiatives and measures
to improve financial support to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), including
those in Warangal district through:
Credit Guarantee Scheme (CGS) for Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) through
Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGTMSE) to provide
credit guarantee for loans extended to MSEs. The ceiling for guarantee coverage
under the scheme is Rs 10 crore.
Self-Reliant India (SRI) Fund has been set up to infuse Rs. 50,000 Crore as equity
funding in Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with a provision of Rs.
10,000 Crore from the Government of India and Rs. 40,000 Crore through Private
Equity/Venture Capital Funds.
(d): The PM GatiShakti National Master Plan (PMGS-NMP) is a transformative digital platform
designed to provide integrated, multimodal connectivity infrastructure across India including
Warangal District in Telangana. It synchronizes 7 key engines—Railways, Roads, Ports,
Waterways, Airports, Mass Transport, and Logistics—utilizing GIS data for planning, reducing
logistics costs, and enhancing economic growth.
