Parliament Question: Narcotic drugs seized in Gujarat

GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS RAJYA SABHA UNSTARRED QUESTION NO. 3743 TO BE ANSWERED ON THE 25TH MARCH, 2026/ CHAITRA 4, 1948 (SAKA) NARCOTIC DRUGS SEIZED IN GUJARAT 3743 # SHRI SHAKTISINH GOHIL: Will the Minister of HOME AFFAIRS be pleased to state: (a) the quantity of narcotic drugs seized in Gujarat during the last three years, the details of these drugs; (b) the value of the seized narcotic drugs in the international market; (c) the number of cases in which offenders were apprehended in connection with the seized narcotic drugs; and (d) the recipient to whom the seized drugs were intended to be delivered ultimately and the number of cases found authentic, the details thereof? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS (SHRI NITYANAND RAI) (a) The quantity of prohibited narcotic drugs seized in Gujarat during the last three years (2023-2025) as reported by various Drug Law Enforcement Agencies (DLEAs) to Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is at Annexure-I. (b) & (c) The value of seized narcotic drugs alongwith the number of cases and offender apprehended is as under: - Year Approx.
