Will the Minister of HOME AFFAIRS be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government has issued any directives making Hindi
mandatory in official communications, central services, or educational
institutions, if so, the details thereof;
(b) whether concerns raised by non-Hindi speaking States, including Tamil
Nadu, have been addressed;
(c) whether the Government will reaffirm its commitment to the three-
language formula and equal status for all Scheduled Languages; and
(d) if not, the reasons therefor?
