QUESTION
Performance on North East Venture Fund
6026. Shri Tapir Gao:
Will the Minister of DEVELOPMENT OF NORTH EASTERN REGION be
pleased to State:
(a) the number of startups and enterprises funded under the North East Venture
Fund (NEVF) during the last three years, State-wise;
(b) the total amount of investment approved and disbursed under the fund during the
said period;
(c) the distribution of enterprises supported under the fund, sector-wise; and
(d) the number of jobs generated by enterprises supported through the fund in the
North Eastern Region?

(a) The details of number of startups and enterprises funded under NEVF during the
last three years, State-wise is as under:

Total 14 3 4 21(b) Under NEVF during the period of FY 2023-24 to FY 2025-26, a total of Rs. 11.52
crore has been granted in-principle approval for investment. Further, Rs. 16.76 crore
has been disbursed to various startups during the last three years, which includes
residual undisbursed approved amount into startups from prior years.
(c) During the last three years, the distribution of enterprises/startups supported
under the fund, sector wise are tabulated:
