In response to Unstarred Question No. 3057 for the Lok Sabha, the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) provided details on the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Project. The total financing assistance under the World Bank for the RAMP project is Rs 3750 Cr. Rs 3211.77 Cr has been approved for all 36 States and UTs under the RAMP Programme in five cycles. Maharashtra has been sanctioned Rs 194.49 Cr for Strategic Investment Plan (SIP)-approved interventions. The government reports no challenges in State-level coordination or fund distribution. The question was addressed by the Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Sushri Shobha Karandlaje, on December 18, 2025.

(a) the details of total financing assistance under the World Bank for Raising and Accelerating
MSME Performance (RAMP) Project;
(b) Contribution of the Central and State in this project particularly for Maharashtra;
(c) whether the Government has faced any challenges in State-level coordination or fund
distribution, if so, the details thereof; and
(d) the corrective steps taken by the Government to ensure time-bound release of grants to
MSME Clusters?
