RECRUITED CANDIDATES IN CAPF
1511. SHRI MURASOLI S:
Will the Minister of HOME AFFAIRS be pleased to state:
(a) the number of candidates from Thanjavur district recruited into Central
Armed Police Forces during the last five years;
(b) the number of cybercrime complaints from Thanjavur district registered
on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal and referred to the Indian Cyber
Crime Coordination Centre during the same period along with the details
thereof; and
(c) whether the Government has any plans to establish a CAPF training centre
in Thanjavur and the details thereof?

(SHRI NITYANAND RAI)
(a) to (c) : A total of 68 candidates from Thanjavur district have been
recruited into Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) & Assam Rifles(AR)
during the last five years. A total of 5,04,385 cybercrime complaints have
been reported on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (NCRP) during
the last five years (2021-2025) from Tamil Nadu State including Thanjavur
district.
