of Consumer Price Index (CPI), based on 2024=100, and Gross Domestic Product (GDP), based on
2022-23, on 12th February, 2026 and 27th February, 2026 respectively. With regard to base revision
of Index of Industrial Production (IIP), it is planned to release the revised estimates based on 2022-23
in May, 2026.

alignment with the corresponding International Standard Industrial Classification of All Economic
Activities (ISIC) maintained by the United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD). The NIC is revised
whenever the corresponding international classification, i.e., ISIC, is updated by the UNSD. The current
version, NIC-2025, was published by the Ministry in November 2025 and is aligned with the latest
international version, ISIC Revision 5.(c) and (d): As per the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1961, the Ministry is
mandated to monitor projects costing 150 crore and above (modified vide Amendment series no.384
dated 07.02.2026). The Ministry monitors the projects through online portal/ web monitoring system
"Project Assessment Infrastructure Monitoring and Analytics for Nation-Building (PAIMANA)" which
is integrated with Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade’s portal Integrated Project
Monitoring Portal (IPMP). Line Ministries/Departments/ Implementing Agencies regularly update the
information of projects on IPMP and the same is fetched from IPMP to PAIMANA via Application
Programming Interfaces (APIs).
(e): The new series of CPI and GDP has been released on 12th February and 27th February, 2026
respectively. The revised Index of Industrial Production (IIP) series with the new methodology is
planned to be released in May 2026.
