Will the Minister of MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES be pleased to state:
(a) the details of number of clusters approved, functional/operational, pending clearance and yet
to commence including handloom clusters under the Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of
Traditional Industries (SFURTI) along with their status across the country during the last five years,
State-wise and district-wise in Andhra Pradesh, especially in Eluru district.
(b) whether the Government has identified reasons for delays in operationalizing clusters in the
various States including Andhra Pradesh and the steps being taken to address these delays.
(c) the total funds allocated, released and utilized under the SFURTI scheme in the country,
State-wise and district-wise in Andhra Pradesh including the Eluru Lok Sabha Constituency during
the last five years; and
(d) the details regarding the total number of individuals, especially women and youth, who have
been benefited by the SFURTI scheme during the last five years across the country, State- wise and
district-wise in Andhra Pradesh including the Eluru Lok Sabha Constituency?

(a): The Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industries (SFURTI) was in
continuation till 30-09-2022 only, for the purpose of consideration of new clusters. Details of
clusters approved, became functional/operational, including handloom clusters, along with their
status across the country during the last five years, State/UT wise and District-wise in Andhra
Pradesh are annexed as Annexure-I. No cluster proposal under SFURTI has been received in the
Ministry from Eluru District, Andhra Pradesh.
(b): The Ministry periodically reviews the functionalization of SFURTI clusters in coordination
with the concerned Nodal Agencies, Technical Agencies, and Implementing Agencies, based on
physical visits conducted, progress reports etc.
(c): The consolidated fund is approved under SFURTI as such the funds are not allocated or
released State wise or District wise.
(d): Around 116,836 women artisans have been directly benefitted under SFURTI during the last
five years. State wise and District-wise details of Andhra Pradesh, are annexed as Annexure-II.
