Notification Regarding Relinquishment of Members from the Council of Ministers
On August 14, 2026, the Ministry of Home Affairs issued a formal notification (F. No. 10/5/2019-M&G), published in The Gazette of India: Extraordinary (Part I—Section 2). The notification announces that the President of India, acting on the advice of the Prime Minister, has relinquished the following individuals from their duties within the Council of Ministers:
Cabinet Minister
Shri Dharmendra Pradhan: Relinquished with effect from July 25, 2026.
Ministers of State
Shri George Kurian: Relinquished with effect from June 23, 2026.
Shri Ravneet Singh: Relinquished with effect from July 24, 2026.
