Hyderabad, letter No. DCE- III/OT2/M2/1294/Vol.VI/11, Dated: 07-03-2012. **** ORDER In the reference 1st read above, the Government had accorded administrative approval for an amount of Rs.90.50 crores (Rupees Ninty crores and fifty lakhs only) for the formation of Reservoir across Peddavagu near Nilwai Village, Vemanpally Mandal, Adilabad District to create irrigation potential of 13,000 acres. The work was entrusted to M/s MVR-SOHAM(JV). The agency executed 60.37 % of work and stopped the work. As the work was abandoned by the contractor, the Superintending Engineer, Bellampally has taken over the possession of site of work under clause 61 of PS to APSS and clause 41.11 of the agreement. 2. In the references 2nd read above, the Engineer-in-Chief (Med. Irr.), Hyderabad has submitted proposals for Administrative Approval for the balance work of Nilwai Medium Irrigation Project for an amount of Rs. 55.62 Crores and completing the same through another agency selected as per the tender procedure. 3. In the reference 3rd read above, the Engineer-in-Chief (Med. Irr.), Hyderabad has submitted the revised estimate for the work “Package No.12- Formation of Reservoir across Peddavagu Near Nilwai(V), Vemanpally (M), Adilabad District” for an amount of Rs.138.27 Crores (Rupees One Hundred Thirty Eight Crores and Twenty Seven Lakhs only). 4. Government after careful examination of the proposal, hereby accord revised administrative approval for Rs. 138.27 Crores (Rupees One Hundred Thirty Eight Crores and Twenty Seven Lakhs only) for the formation of Reservoir across Peddavagu near Nilwai Village, Vemanpally Mandal, Adilabad District. 5. The above expenditure is chargeable to “DA 4701 Capital Outlay-Major and Medium Irrigation-03-Medium Irrigation Commercial– MH-237-GH-21 (AIBP) – SH(26) & SH(27) & SH(50)-530/531 O.E-Peddavagu Nilwai”.
