ORDER:-
In the references 1st read above, the Engineer-in-Chief, Medium

Irrigation Project completed in1997 to feed the ayacut of 24,700 Acres in Bobbili,
Seethanagaram and Makkuva Mandals both under Left and Right Main Canals
by forming reservoirs across Suvarnamukhi and Gomukhi Rivers with capacity of
1.405 TMC. These two reservoirs are inter connected through a cross regulator
constructed across the diversion channel excavated from Gomukhi River to
Suvarnamukhi river. The yield available from the catchment is 4.485TMC. But the
yield of 3.00 TMC was allotted and accordingly the contemplated ayacut was
determined as 24,700 acres. The entire ayacut is proposed to be fed with two
canals. 1) Right Main Canal and 2) Left Main Canal. An ayacut of 16,150 Acres is
proposed under Right Main Canal and the ayacut of 8,550 Acres is proposed
under Left Main Canal. The ayacut being irrigated is of the order of 22,500 acres.
