of 2009 – Criminal Appeal filed in APHC – Dismissed – Fully exonerated from the
charge – Regularization of suspension period i.e. from 23.11.1997 to 2.2.2000
as on duty in terms of FR 54-(B)(3) & (4) – Orders – Issued.

ORDER:
In the reference 1st read above, the Chief Executive Officer, ZPP
Karimnagar has issued orders placing Sri A. Rajaram, Senior Assistant, ZPP
Karimnagar district under suspension on the allegation of demand and
acceptance of bribe from the complainant for doing official favour and in the
reference 2nd read above, sanction was accorded for prosecution of Sri A.
Rajaram, Senior Assistant in a Court of Law. The suspension of individual was
reviewed from time to time and in the reference 3rd read above, orders were
issued reinstating Sri A. Rajaram, Sr.Asst. ZPP Karimnagar district, into service
pending finalization of Criminal proceedings.
2] In the reference 5th read above, Prl. Spl.Judge for SPE & ACB cases, cum
IV Addl. Chief Judge, Hyderabad in C.C.No.19 of 2009 pronounced the
judgement dated:31.7.2003 and acquitted Sri A. Rajaram, Sr. Asst., ZPP
Karimnagar district. The Hon’ble High Court of AP has also dismissed the
Criminal Appeal filed by State Anti-Corruption Bureau while confirming the
acquittal judgement of the Trial Court in the reference 6th read above.
3] In the reference 7th read with reference to 9th read above, Govt. have fully
exonerated the Accused Officer Sri A. Rajaram, former Senior Assistant, ZP
Karimnagar (now retired) from the charge, on the allegation of corruption in
trap case.
4] In the reference 8th read above, the Chief Executive Officer, ZPP
Karimnagar has forwarded a representation submitted by Sri A. Rajaram, Sr.
Asst. (Retired), for regularizing the period of suspension from 23.11.1997 to
2.2.2000 as on duty in terms of FR 54-(B)(3) & (4), as the Prl.Spl.Judge for SPE
& ACB cases, Hyderabad has pronounced the judgement and found him ‘not
guilty’ from the charges leveled against him.

5] The Government, after careful examination of the matter, have decided
and accordingly, hereby order that the period of suspension from 23.11.1997 to
2.2.2000 of Sri A. Rajaram, former Senior Assistant, ZPP Karimnagar (now
retired) shall be treated as on duty in terms of FR 54-(B)(3) & (4).
6] This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (FR-II) Department vide
their U.O.No.678/14/FR.II/12, dated.24.01.2012.
7] The Chief Executive Officer, ZPP Karimnagar shall take further action in
the matter.
