From the Commissioner, Panchayat Raj & Rural Employment, Hyderabad Lr.No.5856/M1/2011, dt.21.05.2011. 2. G.O.Rt.No. 4128 Finance (Expr. PR &RD ) Department, dated: 21.11.2011. ORDER: In the letter 1st read above, the Commissioner, Panchayat Raj & Rural Employement, Hyderabad, has furnished the proposal of the State Election Commission, for release of an amount of Rs. 78,09,631/-(Rupees seventy eight lakshs nine thousand and six hundred thirty one only ) towards the cost of overahaul/ repairs of ballot boxes. He further requested that the funds may directly be released to the Collectors and District Election authorities as shown in the consolidated statement i.e Annexure to under take overhaul/ repairs of ballot boxes well in advance. 2. In the reference 2nd read above, the Government in Finance Department have issued Budget release order for an amount of Rs 34.00 lakhs ( Rupees Thirty four lakshs only ) towards the cost of overahaul/ repairs of ballot boxes, for conduct of 4th ordinary Elections to the PRIs. 3. In view of the Budget release order from Finance Department, Government hereby accord administrative sanction for an amount of Rs. 34.00 lakhs ( Rupees thirty four lakhs only) to the District Collector/ Chief Executive Officer/ District Panchayat Officers of the concerned districts as mentioned in the Annexure. 4. The Expenditure sanctioned in Para (3) above shall be debited to the following Head of Account”2515- Other Rural Development Programmes, 101-SH (21), State Election Commission, 500- Other charges 503- Other Expenditure” under Non –Plan. 5. The District Collector/ Chief Executive Officer/ District Panchayat Officers of the concerned districts in the State as mentioned in the annexure are hereby authorized to draw the amount on Detailed Vocher Bill as shown in the annexure enclosed to this order . The Director of Treasuries and Accounts, Hyderabad is requested to issue budget authorization to the amount sanctioned in Para (3) above and issue necessary instructions to admit the bill submitted by the District Collectors/ Chief Executive Officers/ District Panchayat Officers of the concerned districts in the State as shown in the annexure enclosed to this order.
