O R D E R:
In the G.O.1st read above, orders were issued appointing Sri Janak Raj, IPS
(Retd.), Member, Commissioner of Inquiries, General Administration Department, as
Enquiry Officer under Rule 20 (2) of Andhra Pradesh Civil Service (Classification,
Control and Appeal) Rules, 1991, to conduct departmental enquiry into charges framed
against Sri Sriranji Satyanarayana, formerly Executive Engineer (PR), Jagitial,
Karimnagar District, on the allegations of acquisition of movable and immovable
properties without obtaining prior permission from the competent authority and non-
submission of Annual Property Returns during the period from 1981-82 to 1993-94. Sri
S. Srinivasa Rao, Advocate, Hyderabad was also appointed as Presenting Officer.
2. In the U.O.Note 2nd read above, the G.A. (COI-R) Dept. has informed that
consequent on the expiry of term of Sri Janak Raj, IPS (Retd.), COI on 16.09.2011, it
has been decided to re-assign the pending cases to Sri Lingaraj Panigrahi, IAS., COI,
GAD. The G.A.(COI.R) Dept. have, therefore, requested to issue revised orders re-
assigning the case against Sri Sriranji Satyanarayana, formerly Executive Engineer
(PR), Jagitial, Karimnagar District, to Sri Lingaraj Panigrahi, IAS., COI, GAD.
3. Accordingly, in modification of the orders issued in the G.O.1st read above,
Government hereby appoint Sri Lingaraj Panigrahi, IAS., Commissioner of Inquiries,
General Administration (COI) Department, as Enquiry Officer under Rule 20 (2) of
Andhra Pradesh Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1991 in place
of Sri Janak Raj, IPS (Retd.), COI. He is requested to take up the inquiry from where it
was leftover and also obtain the records etc., from the General Administration (COI-JR)
Department.
4. Sri S. Srinivasa Rao, Advocate, Hyderabad who was appointed as Presenting
Officer, in the G.O.1st read above, shall continue to be the Presenting Officer to present
the case before the Enquiry Officer on behalf of the Government.
