O R D E R :
Certain allegations of failure to obtain any permission from the department
before acquiring the properties and failure to submit the annual property returns
to the Department for the years from 1987 to 1998 and 2004 to 2006 and failure
to submit proforma statements I to IV. Disciplinary action was initiated under rule
20 of A.P. Civil Services (Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules, 1991, against
Sri N. Prasad Reddy, Deputy Executive Engineer, RWS&S, O/o the Engineer-in-
Chief, RWS&S, Hyderabad by calling his written statement of defense vide
reference 1st read above and the Charged Officer submitted his written
statement of defense, vide reference 2nd read above.
2. After examining the matter, in the reference 3rd read above, orders were
issued appointing the Superintending Engineer, RWS & S, Hyderabad as Inquiry
Officer for conducting detailed inquiry against Sri N. Prasad Reddy, Deputy
Executive Engineer, RWS&S, O/o the Engineer-in-Chief, RWS&S, Hyderabad,
as per Rule 20 (2) of A.P.Civil Services (Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules,
1991.
3. In the reference 4th read above, the Inquiry Officer has submitted his inquiry
report. While enclosing a copy of Inquiry Report, under rule 21 (2) of A.P. Civil
Services (Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules, 1991, the Charged Officer Sri
N. Prasad Reddy, Deputy Executive Engineer, RWS&S, O/o the Engineer-in-
Chief, RWS&S, Hyderabad has been directed to submit his explanation, if any,
on the inquiry report, vide reference 5th read above. The Charged Officer has
submitted his representation, vide reference 6th read above.

4. Government, after careful examination of the matter, have decided to drop
further action and accordingly hereby drop further action against Sri N. Prasad
Reddy, formerly Deputy Executive Engineer, O/o the Engineer-in-Chief, RWS&S,
Hyderabad and presently working as I/c Executive Engineer, RWS&S,
Anantapur.
5. The Special Officer & Engineer-in-Chief, RWS&S, Hyderabad shall take
further necessary action in the matter accordingly.
