ORDER:-
In the reference 3rd read above, the Chief Executive Officer, SERP, Hyd.,
has stated that, the District Collector & District Magistrate, Karimnagar has
proposed the name of Sri J. Shankaraiah, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation,
Warangal as Project Director, DRDA, Karimangar District as he has worked as
Municipal Commissioner, Nalgonda, Khammam, Ramagundam as Dy. Municipal
Commissioner, GHMC & GVMC and Municipal Reforms Officer at APUSP-DFID
Project and he has piloted a number of schemes in Urban IKP, viz., Food
Security, TFI, Pavalavaddi, Legal Counseling, etc. and expressed that he is well
versed with Rural Development functions and can undertake his duties without
utmost satisfaction of superiors. He has requested the Government in Rural
Development to address the Government in M.A & U.D Department to place the
services at the disposal of Rural Development for being posted as Project
Director, DRDA, Karimnagar on deputation to SERP and issue orders posting him
as Project Director, DRDA, Karimnagar in relaxation of two conditions as
mentioned below.
i) Empanelment of his parent department i.e., Municipal
Administration & Urban Development Department by the
APARD.
ii) Enrollment of his name in the selected list of APARD for
the posts of PD, DRDA / DWMA etc., enrolment in the list
of empanelled departments as well as inclusion of his
name in the APARD selected list.
2. In the reference 4th read above, the MA&UD (A1) Department have
issued orders placing the services of Sri J. Shankaraiah, Municipal Commissioner,
Selection Grade, presently working as Joint Director, O/o the Municipal
Administration, A.P., Hyderabad, at the disposal of PR&RD [RD] Dept., for being
posted as Project Director, DRDA, Karimnagar District on deputation basis initially
for a period of one year.
3. Government after careful examination of the matter hereby post Sri J.
Shankaraiah, Municipal Commissioner, Selection Grade, presently working as
Joint Director, O/o the Director, Municipal Administration, A.P., Hyderabad, as
Project Director, DRDA Karimnagar District on deputation basis, initially for a
period of one year in relaxation of two conditions as mentioned at para 1 above.

4. The appointment of the officer above shall be governed by terms and
conditions stipulated in the references 1st & 2nd read above.
5. The Chief Executive Officer, Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty, A.P.,
Hyderabad / the Director, Municipal Administration, A.P., Hyderabad and the
District Collector, Karimnagar District shall take further action accordingly.
