Letter No. 21/COI- SB/A2/2011, Dated 22.07.2011. * * * * * ORDER: Based on the proposal of Engineer - in – Chief, Panchayati Raj in the reference 1st read above, Article of Charges have been framed against Sri G. Surendranath, I/c Executive Engineer, for the irregularities committed in execution of works “providing CC Road from Poornananda Swamy Ashram Gosala to Akkanna Centre at sunnipenta “, Srisailam Mandal, Kurnool Dist. Vide reference 2nd read above. The Charged officer has submitted his Written Statement of Defence vide reference 3rd read above. 2. Not satisfying with the Written Statement of Defence, the case was entrusted to Commissioner of Inquiries vide reference 4th read above to conduct inquiry under Rule 20 (2) of APCS (CCA) Rules, 1991. Subsequently, the case was re-assigned to Dr. Subrendu Bhattacharya, IAS, Commissioner of Inquiries to conduct the Inquiry from where it was left over vide reference 5th read above. 3. The Inquiry Officer has furnished his report holding the charges against the Charged Officer i.e Sri G. Surendranath, Executive Engineer for the irregularities committed in execution of works “providing CC Road from Poornananda Swamy Ashram Gosala to Akkanna Centre at sunnipenta “, Srisailam Mandal, Kurnool District have not proved vide reference 6th read above. 4. Government, after careful consideration of the Inquiry Report, have decided to drop further action against Sri G. Surendranath, Executive Engineer and accordingly drop further action against the charged officer Sri G. Surendranath, Executive Engineer.5.
